Actually, I already send an email requesting to change the GAP to 1.15mm one day ago. But had not yet received any reply. Thus, am still hesitating whether is it the right choice haha. Really worried it may be like the Guerrilla razor which is my first high end razor yet I prefer the $35 shave of the Matador Toro Mastiff razor of mine.

Sorry guys for being so wishy washy, not being able to make up my mind.

A 115 and a Guerilla are not even close....in any realm of comparison. Just my opinion.

If you like the CG L2, I think you’ll also enjoy the 1.15SB. I have both and find them both very nice daily drivers, with the 1.15SB just a little better in terms of both smoothness and efficiency. The blade feel is comparable, with maybe even a touch less in the 1.15, especially after the first pass.
Dude...you seriously just copied my paper.

I'm shocked.

Haha! Great minds think alike? Might be because darn near all of my high end razor purchases have been enabled, I mean informed by you my friend!

Thank you for the kind words, sir. I've been very lucky to get to try about all of them. I'd really like to do a DanLaw type thread specifically dealing with large gap WR1s and WR2s. Most of that info is amongst these 600 or so tho.

Knowing where to jump in the pool can save you some time, $$$, and aggravation.

the sole reason for creating a new thread vs posting here was that it was intended to be photo heavy and a comparison across the duFour universe of high end razors. As such wanted to weed it out of the more expert debates ongoing here and provide a simple way for users new to the brand to have an easily searched frame of reference, Simply clarifying in case some thought it inappropriate to start a separate thread.

LOOT You definitely need to do a thread comparing the WR1, WR2, BBS1 your experience with these will definitely benefit others it certainly helped (enabled) me with my Wolfie purchases.

Not me DannyLaw, wasn't the intent of evoking your name, at all. Ample apologies bestowed upon you, if necessary my friend.

Did not intend to infer anybody suggested posting a separate post was offensive - just being preemptive - maybe guilt but still think it appropriate to have done so as know I have searched forever for novice level info buried in expert debate.

Thread subscribers also know my preference definitely leans to milder razors contrary to the majority. Perhaps my technique is not as evolved or my skin really is as bad as suspect is the case or both.

Maybe I am asking a redundant question but I am afraid the 1.05mm will have the efficiency quite similar to a Guerrilla which is hard to get BBS on some areas. I am looking for CG lvl 2 type of blade feel and efficiency since it is what I am aiming for if I could not get the wolfman razor. Really appreciates everyone's advice.

I have never used a guerilla. Never liked the looks or had a reason to chase one.

I find the 1.05 to be as efficient as the level 2. Maybe a hair more. Certainly much much smoother.

You’ll be getting more than one wr2, trust me. So just pick one, and get the other next time. Problem solved.
