Well from having both the WR1 .86 DC and I also have the WR2 Ti DC 125/135 and having shaved with various different gaps the biggest difference when comparing SS to SS is the WR1 has blade feel throughout the entire shave where as the blade feel on the WR2 head diminishes with each pass. For me I also find as the gap goes up on the WR1 so does smoothness which is the exact opposite with most razors. For example. My WR1 .86 DC is smoother than my WR1 .80 DC whereas my WR1.94 custom DC is smoother than the WR1.86 DC.
As far as Titanium vs SS I don't have a WR1 Titanium but it has been my experience that the Titanium in the WR2 head are noticeably smoother than the same razor in SS. For example when comparing the teeth on the OC side of a WR2 SS 1.25 vs WR2 Ti 1.25 for me it was a world of a difference. Much smoother. Also I noticed the ends of the teeth on the Ti seemed a bit rounder than on the SS. Maybe it's the way James finishes the Ti vs the SS and the material that makes it much smoother. I do know of one person who has the WR1 Ti that prefers the SS version to the Ti so it may be different in the WR1 head.

I managed to get an order of WR2 Ti 1.05mm SB. However, I am afraid it may be not efficient enough and would like to ask if I am looking for something similar to Matador Toro Mastiff aggressive model kind of efficiency and aggressiveness (blade feel), should I change my order to a 1.15mm?
After reading through the thread, almost everyone leans towards the 1.15mm as the ultimate daily shaver if one could only own one wr2. However, there are also some members who felt that 1.05mm is efficient enough. I do not mind a WR2 having the efficiency of the Matador aggressive model while being milder (with lesser blade feel) since I enjoyed mild to mid aggressive kind of blade feel.
My experience with DE razors are very limited with only Wolfman Guerrilla and the mentioned Matador aggressive model. I was afraid that the efficiency of the WR2 1.05mm will be similar to the Guerrilla razor which I find not efficient enough to my liking despite enjoying the mildness of it.
Thank you. Really appreciates the info presented in this thread.

It will still be smooth and more efficient

Like despite having blade feel, it is still comfortable? ThanksThere will be a little more blade feel but not a harsh feeling. Smooth is like gliding on ice.
