Going to use this guy as bar soap. May try again per knowledge of batch improvement.(03-27-2023, 11:36 PM)TommyCarioca Wrote:(03-27-2023, 08:03 PM)FaceScraper Wrote: I plan on keeping the crock, either to put another soap in, or maybe - should I have a brain fart - try another puck of The Fat. I’m guessing once I dig the puck out, it’s going to be a mushy broken up mess. On top of that, I wouldn’t want to give this particular soap to an enemy.. Scraper, we are on the same page brother. Satanic rituals made me spit up my coffee because it is accurate. I kind of have to jump through hoops to get a lather. Hesitant to get it out because of the effort. Sad because it is very slick. Foamy for me.

Reading through through all the hoopla about dodgy pucks on another forum is the only reason I dug it back out for one more try. All that experiment did was confirm that, yes, you and I both got dodgy pucks. Something happened, and Mitchell’s ain’t talkin’. Today’s lather was exactly as you described…slick but foamy. Almost like a dry foam appearance. Whether MWF gets another shot someday remains to be seen. There are so many awesome soap makers out there, rolling the dice on another Fat seems kinda silly. Hopefully, whatever happened to that/those batch(es) are behind them, because Mitchell’s really does make some outstanding products.
