Travel shaves the past couple of days.  I didn't check any bags for my flights so I decided to take a Schick injector hoping TSA wouldn't stop to check my bag.  Thankfully there were no issues flying out...hoping that continues today[Image: hw0Y4jA.jpg]

Ah Life!  Busy and then you die.  Hahaha.  Nope, I wouldn’t ask for it any other way.  I sure don’t get time to get here to DFS as often as I’d like but I’m staying shaven and looking sharp.
This morning was DR Harris in Almond.  If you’ve never tried it, this is not the sweet almond of the Italian softies but more like the nut.  Very light and pleasant scent.  Those who know understand my fondness for Harris.  When all the other British soapers started reformulating to crap, Harris stood on the wall and continued to produce soaps that lathered and shaved.  I appreciated that almost as much as I liked their scents.  As stated, almond is a very light scented soap, almost to be unscented.  That said, the scent is there and it doesn’t fade, and that almond scent sure is a nice change once in a while.  Performance?  Well now this is a hard puck so I stay on the load for at least a minute.  I’d much rather overload than get too little soap on the knot.  Performance is subpar with skimpy soap.  I also appreciate how clean Harris rinses.

And yesterdays shave was B&M Amazelnut which I find a treat.  He calls it a seasonal but the hazelnut scent is great anytime.  He mentions no coffee scent in the mix (hazelnut, vetiver, vanilla) but I get a strong coffee note.  At any rate it’s very nice and performance is excellent.  That font on the label looks like Amaze Brut to me though but I went to school in Idaho.

Grooming Dept. - Ousia

There's a good chance this scent is my absolute favorite - not just from Grooming Dept. - of all that I've ever tried or sniffed. The lather today was sublime. I put a new Feather Pro Super in the Vector. With a new Pro Super, it's almost as if the stubble just melts away. The lather provided a super slick "racetrack" for the supercar of razors to rip around on. Shaves don't get much more fun than this.
