Numero uno.

Island estate is great stuff - the aftershave too.  FWIW, I seem to recall getting enabled in this thread, by ExtraProtein IIRC.
Hahaha, when it’s a good product it’s a good product, Scent always puts the icing on for me.  Trying new things is always fun too.  There is quite a bit of enabling in this soap thread!

Superlather: Floris No. 89 (previous cream and current soap)

Not that either needs help... this was just as I expected. Carefree and excellent results.

It's been a while since I've used creams, but I went for the St. James of London Tonka and Tobacco, mainly out of interest in Tonka (and consideration of a future purchase). The scent was persistent, and I really liked it. My better half, an islander, *loved* it more than any of my other soaps/creams/balms because of a fruity note that reminded her of something from the island.

In terms of shaving, it lathered very quickly and provided a clean, smooth shave. I'm going to stock up on a little bit of the creams and look into using the pre-shave oil as a post-shave balm.

Dallas has been humid all summer. Today is screaming for something bright. This is an Aventus like puck. It looks like I am 2 years away from having to buy another bottle of this stuff. Floid Black pairs well as an aftershave and the Saponificio Varesino AFS is sweet.
