What soap/cream did you use today?

Eufros Kasbah shaving soap (tallow). For some reason this does not lather as well as his other soaps. It always is a bit thin and watery, regardless of how little water I add. But it smells good.

I should have left this one corked a little longer. Amber always smells better to me on a cool day. When things are hot and humid, amber gets to smelling like an old stereo tuner. It’s got an electric side to it that reminds me of sparks and hot buzzing. The cardamom is nice, but it sort of gets lost in a patchouli haze. The performance, on the other hand, is perfect. I had one of those “Did I really load the blade?” shaves. But the scent is going to smell a whole lot better come fall.

Tallow + Steel - Sicily

Another soap scent that's very close to 4711 splash. My skin feels BBS (baby butt SOFT).




Along this path converted from "rails-to-trails", someone also converted a train car to their home. Pretty neat.
