I’ve decided that my next big purchase will likely be a scalloped.95 Timeless the problem is I can’t decide what material. I have Wolfmans between .61 and .74 that I get great shaves from. I also really enjoy the SS Mamba and the MJ90. So I don’t think weight is an issue. Is there anyone out there that has used both and provide some advice between SS and Titanium

I can chime in on this one.  I had the .95 in Stainless Steel (SB and OC) and just found the combination of aggression and weight a bit much for me in the open comb.  I ended up purchasing the Ti’s to replace my SS and have not looked back.  They are more expensive but durability and 1/3 the weight, which was a win for me.  If your looking for a pretty razor the ‘Ti’s are not it, stick with the SS for looks. In terms of the shave the SS and Ti’s are identical minus the weight, no selection in terms of Ti handles, but they are interchangeable with the SS. If weight is not a concern, get the SS they are cheaper, look nice, and you get a wider selection. The Ti’s are the opposite to what I just said about the stainless steel....

Wow..that almost bums you out about the Ti’s...still love mine though.

Agree above but many claim Ti has a feel. However not all are able to discern. Matt at Timeless swears by Ti feel as an example.

I currently have all 3 baseplates in SS and a SB/OC dual Ti razor. IMHO the Ti gives a softer feel to the shave. All give a smooth/efficient shave the scalloped being my least favorite as I dont think it is as smooth as the other 2. If you want a lighter razor the Ti cant be beat but if you dont mind the weight of the SS it is a beautiful shiny razor vs the Ti which is dull like a 6S Rockwell

Timeless needs to offer polished Ti. Frankly they need offer a higher level of post machining finishing and polishing to match Wolfman accross their entire SS line

My favorite is the Ti .95 open comb. It’s amazing! My favorite stainless steel is the .68 scalloped. I have tried just about every variation of timeless and my current shave den timeless keepers are the titanium and bronze. The bronze is a very nice causal shave.

i got the bronze and then the 95 titanium solid. i really like the titanium. handle is grippy in the shower due to material. i still like my parker 94r for getting under nose and around lips. i think the blade is more exposed on the parker. personally the titanium looks great to me and like that it's basically indestructable. debating which base is best.

I really wished Timeless would offer their titanium in a polished finish as I really don’t like this beadblast crap many of the razor makers are going to... its ugly, just do the brushed finish. They should have a special place in hell for any one that makes a beautiful razor then bead blasts it. I see Timeless has a photo of the handle on their Facebook page in a polished titanium, I’d buy it if they made it and I don’t mind paying extra for the polishing.

I would like to get Titanium Timeless. But it needs to be polished. I hope someday they offer this option.
