That's interesting. I wasn't aware that Schick made an AC-type blade. I may have to check those out. Thanks for the info.

They are called Schick Proline P-30. The P-30 means that there are 30 blades per cartridge. I liked the Kai Mild better than the Feather Pros. For me the Schicks are smoother than the Kai Mild, but still just as sharp.

OK, I will look for these blades when I have a chance.

I got one of the Black Friday deals and it arrived a couple of weeks ago. I started off with a Kai Mild and it was tugging a little on 1.5 days of growth so I swapped blades to a Feather Pro. I was impressed by the overall shave and it really tamed down the Feather Pro blade. I was only able to push the Feather Pro for 7 shaves in total.

I really did not manage well with the Feather Pro in other razors, but I the General these are quite reasonable. So much so that I went and ordered a pack of Feather Supers to try with this thing. Anyone out there using the Supers?

Yep! Me. Too much aggressive. The Pro is my limit. But I got a very sensitive skin. It may work for you.

In the general I haven't used the supers but I did try them in an alumigoose someone let me try for a few weeks..they were incredibly harsh on my skin, which is sensitive and very prone to bumps and irritation.

I use the supers with the general. I have both color heads on SS handles. One I have loaded with the pro,the other with a super. The super is not too aggressive for me and the general is the only SE I have that I can say that about.

My pack of Supers arrived from Japan and I used on this morning in the General. The first couple of strokes seemed a little rough, but that is typical with the Feather AC blades. After that it smoothed out and I had a fantastic shave. It seems that the best shaves for me in an AC SE are with the General and the Hawk. The least expensive razors seem to be the easiest for me to use.

I'm curious if the Brass General, and the Stainless Steel Hawk will have the same feel and ease of use as the aluminum models.

Only one way to find out. buy them both Smile.
