I recently had the same problem with a Feather AC Pro blade in the General Silver.  It had been a long time since I had any bumps on my neck.  I blamed it on getting too close on my neck.

I have about 12 shaves on a KAI Captain Titan Mild blade in the Silver head now and have been getting very comfortable shaves.  Just not super close.

I think that's the problem I'm having...the feather pros are cutting too close and I have always noticed that the general usually cuts my facial hair better with 1 pass than just about any other razor I've used before.

I'm not a fan of the Feather Pro blades, too harsh for my tastes. I like the Kia miles or even standards better. Feather pro guards do well for me as well.

I found the Kai Original works best for me in The General, same with the ATT SE1 when I had it.

Yeah, me too. Going to be interesting to see just how "tight" Kia blades are to put on. This is probably my last attempt at a Feather AC based safety razor.

My blade of choice is the Feather AC Pro Super, which is supposedly more aggressive than the Pro. I find the Pros either too harsh or too mild, depending on the razor. (Too mild: AlumiGoose v2. Too harsh: Feather AC straights.) If you like the feeling of blade against skin, try the Pro Super. It's more forgiving -- IMO, because it's thicker.

the feather pro supers were awful for me...way too aggressive.

Mine arrives tomorrow. I hope I like it because I sold my matte silver aluminum one.
