What kept me sticking with it is the fact that, whether or not the shave is comfortable (sometimes the lather would dissipate in hot water), post-shave feel was always excellent and unbelievably soothing.

You know the mere fact that so many people have had problem lathering, but stuck with it, is a testimony to how good it really is.

And the fact Michelle has now, apparently, multiple times, stepped up and improved the product, is also testimony to a strong producer/consumer relationship.  Good job all around

Agreed! I've passed along many soaps for far less offenses. It was the post-shave feel of Mystic Water that kept me shaving with it, despite the lathering issues.

And Michelle is a class act that happens to be very knowledgable and articulate in her explanations.

I have a lilac bush/tree in my backyard.

I wonder if there are different kinds of lilacs or, perhaps, that different growing conditions can cause variations.

Lilac has, along with mock orange and clover, been one of my favourites since I was a kid.

Do you suppose the combination of the many ingredients in the soap might affect different people in different ways?

Scent aside, your soap is excellent, the smell is pleasant and it has joined my small rotation of must haves.
I use an electrically heated lather bowl. It presents no problems at all.

I used Lilac today and it was fantastic.

I finished off a tub of Lilac earlier this year. One of my very favorite floral scents. I did compare it side by side to a Lilac bush in my Parent's yard, and it was very close. The soap was a tiny bit on the sweeter side, if I remember correctly.

MW Lily of the Valley smells awesome too. Pretty much a dead ringer for the flower, perhaps a little sweeter and less "green". I really like the Lilac too though.

The sodium citrate has been added to the three new scents.

Does this include Pompelmo e Fiori?

Yes, that's one of the new ones.

I finished off a tub of Sensitive formula recently, but I've also polished off another and more than a dozen of her samples. I plan on ordering a stockpile this winter when I can also get the whipped shea butter .

Could I have a faulty nose?
