Good luck, Sourav and if you do get a chance, I would highly suggest trying the Vetiver & Oakmoss, at some point. Shy

I got my first two Mystic Water soaps in the mail yesterday, the Barbershop and the Jeff's Lavender.

I've just gotten into using tallow based soaps, and my first foray was with B&M and I was extremely impressed. vtmax suggested some others to try, including MW and I read the posts from celestino on the MW, and was very excited to try them.

After I got the soaps, I had some questions, and emailed Michelle at Mystic Water, and she couldn't have been nicer, giving me some good suggestions and sending a link to a YouTube video.

So, this morning, I broke out the MW Barbershop and the Chubby 2 Synthetic, bloomed the soap for a few minutes while showering, loaded the brush well right in the container, added a few drops of water as needed, and then face lathered.

Extraordinary.

Had zero issues lathering the soap. I added a few drops of water for the third pass because I'm in an exceedingly dry climate.

Overall, the lather had excellent slickness and cushion, and led to a very comfortable and close shave. Loved the scent (I'm a sucker for barbershop), and the post-shave feel was just great. These are definitely going into the rotation.

I took a picture of the brush with what was left after three passes and some touchup, and I think I could have done several more passes with the lather that was left!

I need to try the Barbershop. I love the scent of Jeff's Lavender. The Chubby 2 Synthetic absolutely destroyes MW. It's one of my favorite brushes with MW soaps.

Congratulations, Michael and enjoy the soap! You'll have a plethora of scents to choose from which might be quite a dilemma for you. Happy

During the month of May a member of our Australian group used only 1 tub of Mystic Water - and he emulated Nathan's (Merkur Man) shiny lather method: he managed to load more than 5g of soap per shave on average and couldn't finish the month with the same tub - but the results were stunning Big Grin

I am currently away in a country with incredibly soft water I have a tub of Michelle's Lime (old formula) I don't have an issue lathering in the UK in our hard water it just takes a little time but in the country I am in the soap exploded with lather, took me by surprise how quick it was.
