He had a copy of Ladle Rat Rotten Hut, part of Anguish Languish by Howard Chase (circa 1940s per Wikipedia!).

That’s great! I’m Quebec born, English as a second language and was sung and sang that song as a child. Of course it’s obvious now.

Eric MaineYooper  I love the Chief Inspector Gamache series by Louise Penny. My daughter reads them first then passes them down to me. I actually got her on to them but she likes to read through them faster than I do. Smile The murder rate of that small Eastern Townships village is quite something!!
