Bob is right on. Mutton tallow and lanolin makes amazing soap (shave soap as well, but that's a story for another thread). I love the Electric Sheep during the summer.
BadDad make sure you keep them dry when not in use, and don't leave them sitting in a puddle or in the shower stream. That will definitely help keep them lasting longer. They aren't milled and there are no detergents to harden them, so they will go faster if they get soggy. Also, using a loofah, sponge, or washcloth rather than going directly to skin will also extend the life. A cheap-o loofah will make them last for weeks, and will also make them lather like crazy.
