It doesn’t have much blade feel, feels like a CG Level 1 or a Timeless .68 but more efficient than both, efficiency about a CG Level 2

iShave - have you ever tried the 1.05 WR2?  Any sense if the 1.05 is still reasonably good for daily driving?
I have a 1.15 and a 1.05. I think the 1.05 is the better daily driver. Smoother and just as efficient.

I like milder razors. I had a 95 and it was good but just slightly too mild. I currently have a 105 and think it is a fantastic daily driver.

I’ve only used the WR2 .95 and WR1 .54 so I don’t have any insight for you on the 1.05 gap

1.05 is a very comfortable shaver and it never had a hiccup with anything I threw at it. Amazingly efficient for the level of comfort is provides. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it as a daily shaver. If I did shave daily it would be my first choice.

I have to side with the high gap faction. My first and only Wolfman is the WR2 1.45 SB with the WRH7 XL. I use this razor as an everyday shaver after using a Timeless .95 previously.

I say do not be afraid of stepping to a higher gap with this head unless you have super sensitive skin.

Even in high gaps this head is super smooth, and only more efficient as you move up without sacrificing smoothness.

I was afraid that 1.45 would be too high, but I have not regretted the choice. This is the best razor I have ever owned.

This isn‘t getting easier. I think I have dismissed the DC from my list of possible gaps,  just because I find using just one side tedious. Also, I think DC razors are so specific that the tradeability could suffer.

From the last few posts I think a 1.35 SB or 1.25 SB are the strongest contenders for my daily needs. Who knows, perhaps by the time my email comes I‘ll be up at 1.55 SB.

Thank you all for the interesting reading material. I shall continue reading this thread diligently until my time to order comes.

I don’t own a Wolfman, but I’m on the list and have been researching it extensively for the last couple months. And from everything I’ve gathered; it appears that a 1.25 seems to be the best choice as a daily driver for those who prefer a bit more aggression (me).

When my name is finally called I’ll be sticking with the 1.25 as I’d rather go more aggressive and have to adjust then not, and not be able to do anything about it.

Is a 1.65 available?

Forget who it was, but someone asked James for a higher gap than 1.55 and James responded that he would have to change the CNC settings to do it, so it was a non starter.

I have a 1.55 SB and a 1.25 OC. Also a DC 1.15 OC with 1.25 SB. For me they're all great. For the average person I'm guessing a 1.25 would be just fine for a daily shaver. YMMV.

That set up of the 1.15 OC and 1.25 SB is what I put on my initial order

I'm pleased it seems to be acceptable as a daily driver, after some reports I read I thought I may have to go down in gap to a 1.05

If it is good as all reports say then in conjunction with my timeless titanium and rex ambassador I may (may) have no need to buy anymore razors  Dodgy
