I'm pleased it seems to be acceptable as a daily driver, after some reports I read I thought I may have to go down in gap to a 1.05

If it is good as all reports say then in conjunction with my timeless titanium and rex ambassador I may (may) have no need to buy anymore razors  Dodgy
Well ... what's good for the goose ain't necessarily good for the gander when it comes to razors. For instance, I like a Charcoal Goods Lv 3, a Timeless .95 is not overly aggressive to me. Nor is a Blackbird. OTOH ... I had to learn it, but if I'm shaving daily I get along fine with a Charcoal Goods Lv 2 ... but I didn't at first.

The good news is if a 1.15/1.25 turns out to be too much of a good thing trading for a .95 or a 1.05 should be easily accomplished. IMHO.

Since you guys have mentioned it. How does a Timeless Ti .95 OC compare to a Timeless WR2 1.25 SB In stainless with a WRH1 90mm? I have that WR2 but curious about how the Timeless compared to my Wolfman.

Timeless 0,95 close re efficiency with WR2 even smoother, WRH1 has no impact to my perspective

A couple of days ago, I sold a WR1 94OC to a fellow DFSer. Turns out he is two months into his wet shaving journey. I'm not sure what razors he has...but he did tell me he used a Game Changer 84 in an effort to get ready for the 94. I've not used a GC84 so couldn't really advise. I will say tho, two months in with a 94OC is seriously jumping in with both feet. I'm sure I would have filleted myself two months in. It is going to be interesting waiting on his shave report. With any luck, he follows this thread and will share his experience.

I purchased a WR1 DC 0.94 from James in his last drop before the google form system began. I've been shaving since 1963 or so, and wet shaving as we know it since 2007.

Had WR1 0.74 and 0.86 for some years, but had a helluva time getting used to the 0.94. I don't know what it was, I couldn't get a satisfying shave with it for a while.

The shaves were BBS, but somewhat harsh. So I kept shaving with it day after day until imperceptibly I began to get completely good shaves out of it.

By that I mean not only BBS, but comfortable, enjoyable, and satisfying shaves. If you were to ask me what I did differently I couldn't tell you.

I just began to intuitively (apparently) know how to manipulate this particular razor.

If he survives his first shave, maybe we'll hear some interesting stories pretty soon. Big Grin

The .84 GC is a fairly mild razor, got rid of it for that reason. It also felt like it had neutral/negative blade exposure which I can't stand. I wish him luck!

That's exactly what I recall reading. Those two razors are on the opposite end of the spectrum....hehe. I did my best to warn him. Smile

I have a .84 GC OC and SB I use for travel (or used to use, in light of current events). To me, it's extremely mild. It's probably a good razor for shaving in unfamiliar places, like small hotel bathrooms. I know I won't get cut. But I never really thought it did a great job. I used it at home once last week and was again underwhelmed. I never considered the neutral/negative blade exposure thing. I've been enjoying the WR1 more than the WR2 lately due to the greater blade exposure, so maybe the GC is going the opposite direction from my current preferences. I want to find a new travel razor eventually. GC to .94OC is a quite a jump.

My Ti94SB was like that for me. Dunno why that particular razor, of them all, perplexed me so for so long. I wanted to like Feathers in it but a smoother blade got me to really got me to appreciating the head. Now, I rarely run Feathers in anything. I'll take a smoother ride and if I want to eek out a little more performance, I'll get a different razor....or simply open the valve and get to work.
