+1 for a Ti Wr2 Darwin,

I requested and pleaded for one previously but to no avail........
My ss Wr2 Darwin is my No.1 in the Den and is light enough but........

A ti Darwin might even get me to buy a DE again and it’s been a moment.

I think a Ti Darwin would be WAY to light. Shaving with a feather (not the blade, but from a bird) would be heavier.

If you add a shim to the 0,95 you have a virtual 1,05

I use a Gillette flat bottom Tech from England for daily shaves and it usually gets me to BBS/DFS within three passes that lasts for six hours or so.

I would like a WR2 that is bit more efficient (but not much more) and gives a longer lasting shave than the flat bottom tech.

Based on your experience, would you recommend a 0.95 or 1.05 gap?

I put my name down for a 1.05 but am now thinking whether I should go for the 0.95 instead?

Thank you!

Hi there. I think the 1.05 would be fine. I have a FB Tech as well. The .95 only gave me good shaves when using a feather. The 1.05 will give you more options for using blades and is still extremely comfortable on the face even with daily use.

First time poster! A ton of wisdom here.  Almost through with the entire thread and have heard the preference for the 1.05 as a daily driver.  If I usually end up grabbing for a CG Level 1, does that point me more towards the 0.95, or should I stick with the 1.05?

At the other end of the spectrum, I own both the 17-4 and Ti2 but they typically leave me feeling irritated. Any wisdom would be loved!

based on my face, beard growth and experience with both would go 0,95 with option to use a shim if proves too mild. One can add a step of efficiency but tough to take it away is my perspective.
