Tell you the truth, if it ain't a WR2 titanium I'm going to be satisfied with what James Dufour production I've got. So I'm not all that concerned.

When my basic polish WR2 SS 1.55 came in a few weeks ago that was the icing on the cake.  Smile

Jimmy,
If in Titanium, would you get the 1.55 SB ?

Indeed I would. I'd consider a different WR2 gap on the used market if I had the funds, or the trade material to do the deal at the time. Assuming the asking price wasn't exorbitant. It's a want, not a need.

In a way, I'm glad my name won't be called for probably at least another 9 months or so. I've been on an SE (primarily AC w/ the Blackland Vector) kick, and DE is of minimal interest to me these days. Sacrilege, I know, but if I did get that magic email right now, I honesty think I'd pass and let the line move ahead. This waiting time will allow me to more accurately assess if this is simply a phase for me.

To be clear, I would also pass on the Blackland Tradere if it was released right now, and that is a razor I had been salivating over too, so it's not only abut Wolfman. The only DE that, in my current fog, I currently see myself buying for sure is the H&SCo. hardcoat Al N075 base plate-only, and that's more to simply support Aji than anything else.

Would Ti Wolfman change your mind? I think a lot of guys are in the position of passing on SS when their time came up. I'm on the list somewhere and I'll pass. Actually, my plan is to tell James I pass on SS but please open a Ti/Bronze list and put me on that one. Maybe if enough guys did the same, we could see movement on that front.

I believe this Chinese virus has a lot of guys rethinking $500+ razors. They are definitely a luxury items, ones that might be hard to get people to let go of that kinda cheddar for.

However, a Ti WR2 might change some minds and keep you working.

I agree with LOOT for sure,
I would sign for a Ti just to check one out but have no further appetite for another SS,
I already know that the Wr2 is superb for me, I could pass on SS & wait for Ti......... Cool

Re: ti version, I honestly don't know. I've never even so much as held a Wolfman, so this feeling isn't out of some sense of nonchalance about the brand in any way, be it SS version or otherwise. I am a first time maybe-buyer, hell, this is the first time I've even attempted to buy. Not to cause a flame war, but I never cared for his old system, nor do I care for "drops" in general. I'm a consumer who tends to value availability over exclusivity. YMMV, of course, and no disrespect intended.

Same here. I probably will pass on another SS. I'd jump at the chance to get another Ti, however (especially if there were Ti Darwin handles).

A Ti WR2 with Darwin Handle is one of my Unicorns. That and a Bronze  Big Grin.
