I also ordered it in the basic finish and I could not believe how polished it was.  Cannot imagine what a mirror polish would be.  I am extremely pleased.
good to know that it just takes a 1.05 gap to knock down 3.5 days growth!

I just received an email response from Wolfman Razors this morning. I had asked them how long their waiting list is as of submitting an order form today. Their response: 10-13 months to receive your invoice.

Patience!

Hell that is commendable considering the likely demand skew and that many have tried for years unsuccessfully to acquire these.

I received my WR2 about 2 weeks ago. It's a dual comb OC/SB and 1.15 gap for both sides.
I wanted to see if I liked the OC or the SB better (I do like OC razors anyway, and most of my collection are OC).
Using various blades (Feather, Gillette Black, Silver Blue, Minora, Winner, and now a Lab Blue), I find that either side gives me a smooth shave.
The 1.15 would equal the Timeless .95 OC I had in closeness of the shave, but I do think my face feels better. Tried a shave off between the WR2 and my SS Karve SB #D and they are so close too that it's hard to call one better than the other in terms of closeness of shave.
Face feel during and after shave tells me the WR2 is smoother though.
Once I bought the Timeless I did upgrade my soaps and using 'The Gentleman's Quarter' soaps, or 'Arlington' I am getting a very smooth, close shave with no drama, or hint of razor burn (my old soaps were pretty horrid but I had mild razors back then).
I don't really notice any difference in SB or OC shave. Both are so similar (to me).
I'd buy another WR2 OC in 1.25 one day but at 72 I don't think I want to wait until I'm 74 before the new one arrived.
I could easily sell my NEW SC, Timeless .68 OC, and probably the Karve too now that the WR2 has arrived. But then I'd only have 6 razors left!
I think I will have to try a Taiga one day though.

Thanks for this!

Not too long ago James said the waitlist was 4 months long. I wonder if it's been growing exponentially since then.

Summited  my second order on January  24, 2020 for a WR2 1.05. So, this time next year, I should  have my second WR2 coming in. Not bad,  considering that I wait over a year for a BBS-1.

That is significantly less of a wait time than I had been assuming.  Like most everyone else, I assumed the Google form ordering was heavily front-loaded, but dang....that form was clearly getting hammered on the first few days relative to later days.

My order went in on Sept 10. I recall a recent post saying a Sept 9 order received the 3rd email, and the invoice ... so it is a bit past 5 months for me. Anticipation !  Smile

You're going with a 1.55 wr2 right?
You're the reason I got a 1.55 and I couldn't be happier with it! Smile
