That is encouraging to me, since my order went in on Sept 10. Perhaps after the initial glut of orders from Sept 6 to 8 it thinned out a bit. Hope springs eternal ...  Smile

Good to know that they're working on September 9.Do you have any idea what time of the day your order went in?

Honest question, that deserves a response.  I hate to see it get ignored.

I've thought about this since you posted it. Didn't have a real good answer.  Then, I used my Ti 155 this morning.  I can't speak to the Taiga as I've not used one nor do I plan on it.  It looks like a Gibbs and I have an irrational loathing for anything resembling.  It may be the best razor ever, and all it's clones too but ignorance is quite OK with me on this one.

I too have a Janus on order.  Time will tell.  It has the potential to be very good.  It won't replace any WR1/WR2 I have tho.

Is the WR2 relevant? To me, absolutely.  It's crazy smooth throughout the gap to 1.55mm.  It cut's closer than any other 3 piece I've used.  And once you get used to it, it's mindless.  It is in no way threatening.  It's never cut me...and I've been known to do really dumb things with really sharp objects. Only my Rocnel Sailor cuts closer than a 155. A lot closer actually.  But as you open it up smoothness drops and the danger/pucker factor goes up with a healthy dose of blade feel.  Above 3, that razor is anything but mindless.  I'd never grab it if I'm in a hurry, ever.

Only you can determine if the WR2 is relevant to you.  For me, there is no 3 piece razor that is as good.  The WR1 is close behind, then a Blackbird.  My thoughts.

Thank you for responding! I was thinking the 1.55 might fit well with what I've got as it could serve at the top end. I shave every 2-4 days And it certainly would get use.

I think it's too tough to pass up the WM experience without trying it first.

Whoa. Didn't realize you've not tried one. Yes, you absolutely must order.

You and I shave on similar schedules. If I shave 3 times a week it's odd. I like the varying degrees of growth, justifying multiple tools.

Get a 155SB in mirror polish if you like bling. At worst, you'll hate it and it'll be on BST with no $$$ lost. At best, you'll have a new favorite razor. My money is on the later.

Shaving every 2-4 days?
I'll go as far as saying 1.55 is the only gap you need.
It's an iron fist in a velvet glove.
Don't even bother with 1.45

I received my Wolfman WR2 1.25 SB yesterday and shaved with it today. I didn’t know how efficient or aggressive this razor is, so I used a Polsilver and wow, this razor is so smooth XTG and ATG that I couldn’t believe it. Lives up to the hype and I went in with the intention to try and sell it for what I paid for if I didn’t like it. Ended up with no cuts or irritation and a really close shave that was so comfortable that the Aqua Velva barely stung.

Im hating that this razor will probably make my others obsolete.

My first Wolfman, a.1.05 SB WR2 arrived and I used for the first time this morning. Wow, I now see what the hype is about. I have been under the weather this week, so I had 3.5 days of growth and it was an incredible combination of comfort and efficiency.

I also ordered it in the basic finish and I could not believe how polished it was. Cannot imagine what a mirror polish would be. I am extremely pleased.
