Slight off topic but relevant...I bought the charcoal goods L3 based on the efficiency smoothness "everyone" was praising about. Turns out it was not so good for me and the L2 was soo much better. To each is own. I'm happy for everyone that likes whatever gap they like, just saying a higher blade gap is not always the best answer for all.

Agreed. The L3 kinda gets a little harsh. I much prefer the L2 plate...the L2 still take a backseat to the 115, imo.

Congrats on the new razor.

I did my usual 2 shave pass (WTG and ATG), I'm in awe by its smoothness. There is just a tad more blade feel than the 1.25, but the difference in feel isn't huge. However, there's a  very noticeable increase in efficiency. I have several spots where I always have to buff no matter which DE razor I use. This wasn't the case with the 1.55. Due to this, the overall shave was much smoother for me when compared to the 1.25. I still can't believe it!
Also, as mentioned above, the blade feel is not over the top. It definitely has MUCH less blade feel than the blackbird. Going from memory, I'd say it feels like a karve D plate, but MUCH MUCH smoother and efficient. It felt as smooth as my Ti timeless 0.95 SB. I could definitely use this as my daily driver, it's THAT smooth.
All of this was after 7+ days of daily 2 pass shaves.
I also have to say that I'm not a fan of very aggressive razors nor do I have leather skin, so the fact that I can use this as a daily driver is a huge testament to the design of the WR2.
All in all, I couldn't be happier Smile)))

Thanks to the guy who compared the 1.55 to a straight razor (I think it was Jimmy, but not sure). That was the one comment that made me change my mind to a 1.55.

The 1.55 and my RS-10 really make me wonder if it can possibly get any better than this.
I was on the fence wondering if the 1.55 would be too much for me.  You just sold me

Thank you Sir!

Agreed that the 1.55 is the cat's whiskers. OTOH ... For me the CG Lv2 SB doesn't deliver. The Lv2 OC does, and the Lv3 SB is great too. The Lv3 OC is maybe too much of a good thing, but depending on the blade, my technique, I like it.

Can anyone give any advice on titanium drops? I am "in line" for stainless but I would love a ti instead.

There haven’t been any for quite some time.

I've noticed for me at least, the higher gaps are smoother as well, like the wr1. I've heard the opposite but that's my take. My 1.05 was the least comfortable of 1.05,1.15, and 1.25. My guess is the bigger gap allows the blade to be at less of an angle to your skin because of the increased range of motion but that might be a stretch.

Does anyone know what the blade exposure is on the wr2? Or a place to find it. Obviously positive but how much.
