It appears to me that since James started the new sign up list the resale value of Wolfman razors has dropped especially with the lower gap WR1’s, I don’t recall in recent years when a Wolfman was listed below current new price that wasn’t sold as soon as it was listed.

I've noticed that trend in the WR1 lower gaps. WR2 seem to still be hot. As time goes by it remains to be seen whether or not this new 'subscription plan' James is trying out satisfies demand. Now that he offers the lower cost finishes it just might. I'm quite impressed with photos of the basic textured finish. OTOH, if he still can't keep up with demand the after market may heat up again. I'm 'patiently' waiting for my number to come up ...  Rolleyes

The overall feel is similar to the CG and a tad less blade feel than the BB but better glide. I am happy I went with the 1.15 gap and not 1.25 however it would be good to try the 1.25 just to be sure. I need more time with it.
How would you compare the blade feel to the CG L2?
It's similar. 1.15mm WRH2 may have a touch more blade feel than the CG L2.

I’ve been loving my WR2 1.15 in SS as well as Ti as a Dome Shaver. I’ve had short hair over the past twenty plus years because of my job, and have always used clippers to knock it down every week or so. Over the past few years I’ve started to become folliclely challenged and have started to resemble a kiwi when my hair starts to grow out. Over the past few years I’ve made several attempts with numerous DE Razors at getting a good Dome shave with varying degrees of success. Most of the time I end up trying to exsanguinate myself. I’ve been having great results with the WR2 1.15, it’s been smooth and efficient for me with no blood loss or nicks, a game changer for me and my head shaves. The WR2 is such a smooth shaver that it’s like I’m using a cart, but with the efficiency and smoothness of a DE. Even my lumpy head is no match for the WR2, it mows my hair down with ease. If there are any head shavers out there, this one is a must try.

The 1.25SB finally arrived today. I was getting a bit uneasy as the USPS tracking once it entered the US had said delivery was supposed to be Friday. Then the tracking link removed the delivery date all together and then just said the package was traveling within the USPS network... Friday through Monday came and went with no additional updates. Then this morning it changed to Out for Delivery. ( I have to admit I was sweating this a little as the same exact thing happened to me verbatim a few weeks with the package never arriving). Anyway... I’ve spent quite a bit of time with both the 1.05 and 1.15 SB’s both used on 90mm solid handles and I’m eager to see how this incremental increase goes. I changed my original order to just the head only as the wife had an unexpected ER visit from the time I placed the order to the time James confirmed it. Luckily I had an extra 90mm polished solid handle from a trade to match so all is well in terms of having a complete razor.

Hope your wife is okay!

Out of the 1.05 and 1.15 gaps, what is your preference for daily use?

I’d say for me at least daily would be the 1.05. The 1.15 is awesome for my multi day growth. While I don’t shave daily I think the 1.15 for me after a few days might give a hint of “ too much of a good thing” for this face which is pretty sensitive. Both are extremely smooth and comfortable. I’d be hard pressed if I had to choose only one. Trying a 1.25 or above at this point is just curiosity getting the better of me and slowly trying to find the limits of what I like.

I remember when I was on Wolfwhiskers' list, I didnt even think about it until his email
hit me. In Peter's case, there's at least a fixed timeframe for your number to come up:
approx 3 months.

Wolfman is pretty much like "see you when I see you".

I would say forget about it (not easy I know). A watched pot never boils.
