IIRC your initial order form went out to James on 9/6 ? Just trying to gauge when my elusive final email will arrive in my inbox.

Yeah. I was amongst the first to email...a short time before the post went up on the forums (which is probably where the bottleneck starts).

Is there any down side to titanium over stainless steel?

It's all personal preference. Do you prefer heavier razors? If so, get SS. Do you want a polished razor? If go, get SS. Ti is only available in the brushed finish. The only downside to Ti is that it's not readily available.

It's the start of a new day in Canada,
Perhaps another Invoice mail shot is on James this morning's priority to do list?

I thought I got in early after Pork.....8pm 9/6 Canada local time.
Never has my inbox been checked so regular...... Big Grin

The basic polish looks really good in the pictures.  I bought my WR1 before he distinguished polishing levels, so I have the mirror polish.  It will be interesting to compare the 2.  From what I can tell, it looks like the basic should make most people happy, especially considering the price difference.

Please post your impressions of the OC.  I'm leaning towards OC, but I've read that the SB is smoother.  I typically find OCs smoother though, so I'm interested to hear more feedback on the OCs.

Well, I must be getting close then. I got my first Google Forms e-mail confirmation on 9/6 at 9:50 pm ET.

Then I got the second one that came directly from James’ email address on 9/20 at 11:58 am ET, that said, “[font=UICTFontTextStyleTallBody]PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.  You will be contacted again to confirm these details. (Changes can be made if needed)”.

Just waiting on the final confirmation email and invoice.

I can't think of anything right now except that he's stopped offering Ti in polished
form, with one or two exceptions. The current offering is brushed Ti...one member
posted pics of his razor that had some light signs of machine work (or scratches, if you want
a stronger word) under the top cap mostly...this is possible when ordering Ti. It is said to
be part of this finish. Apparently they can be polished out.

He doesn't offer Ti very often...that could be a downside for some.
