I was leaning toward 1.45 and 1.55 because I have a 1.25. You think 1.35 and 1.55 would be a better choice or just go with 1.45 on both sides?

Well, my thinking was it may fit more roles. 3 pass shave with the 135...one with the 155...or anything in between. What other Wolfies you got?

WR2 1.25 DC, WR1 .74 DC and a Guerilla OC.

Love the Idea of shimming the WR2 since the cutting blade is locked in the Top Cap @ AJSharp. I too find the Paradigm 1 to be an excellent smooth and efficient razor.

Yes. The blade angle of WR2's seems to be linear all the way up to 1.90mm from the experiments and images I took checking blade angles on my 1.15 and another 1.55 WR2. Afterwards the slope of the blade angle start regressing.

Thanks for confirming, I feel i may have not explained my question properly though, and seeing your username, you undoubtedly know more than me.

What i meant to say, is if you were to use say a 105SB, does finding the perfect angle to hold the handle at have a smaller window than that of say a 125SB? i.e. can the 125 be less sensitive to having the correct handle angle while shaving? Or are they all similar in needing the same angle?

That would be correct. Since it is linear the higher gap the higher you start start on the Y axis. So the "effective" shaving angle is larger thus it is inuitively easier to find. But once you pass 1.9mm the slope drops. So for example a 1.95mm actually ends up with a shallower angle so it is harder to find the blade. I myself am going to try to order a 1.85mm to be within margin of tooling and polishing error.

So correct that the RS10, Paradigm 17-4 are smoother like its big brother Paradigm Ti1 compared to the Wolfman. I agree that they are slightly less efficient as are some of those others you Deus Vult noted.

When you are comparing efficient razors the very clunky Futur wide open or the harsh feeling iKon Tech can be at least as efficient if not more than those high gap Wolfmanrazors but they are not smooth.

I'd likely go 135/155. Then, wait patiently for a Ti145

I wonder if Dufour would make a 1.75 or 1.85?

Forgive me if I've missed it, but are all of the 1.55 WR2's, that are being discussed, in the TI version.
I'm imagining the differences in a TI 1.55 vs SS. Anyone?

I’ll bet LOOT could get him to make one!

Yessir, as far as I know, all the 1.55’s in the wild are Ti.
