Those 2 shaves are miles apart though.

If you could post a close-up picture of the 0.94 WR1 blade gap, that would be great.
Hi Loot
I have a WR2 1.25/1.35 and would like to know how the shave compares to the WR1. 94 in feel, smoothness and efficiency
Thanks so much

Andrew...My answer is based on SB heads only.

My 135Ti cuts closer than the SS94 and it's also smoother. My 94SS is more efficient than my 125Ti.

The 94SS has more blade feel than the 135Ti does on it's first pass. The 135 feels closer to an 86 in blade feel, to me.

The 94SS blade feel is consistent through the shave. It's there. It's dominant. It does not let you forget it...but it's not threatening...at all.

The 94Ti is a whole other story.

Ok sure......any 0.94 wr1 pics will be fine. Thanks

I felt the 1.15 was actually quite mild even though it did a great job.....so I don't want a WR1 that behaves exactly the same.....would be great
to get something 10-15% more efficient than the 1.15....but with that comfortable, smooth, enjoyable face feel.

Ive used to own the Muhle 2013 and if the 0.94 is like it, I dont think I'll be able to use it often.

WR1 0.74 and 0.80 may end up being too mild, so maybe I'll end up landing on 0.86 or 0.91.

That's a hard picture to take. Hopefully it helps. 94 v 115

An 80 will be close to the 115, with 115 being slightly more efficient. Then comes 86, 125, 94 and 135. I really doubt we could tell a 91 from a 94 unless you had both in hand. I'd wager, we still couldn't.

If you want a a WR1 companion to the 115 that kicks up the efficiency...I'd go 94 but be ready for more blade feel. 86 makes no sense.

I really don't understand where the thread is going to. You can't see efficiency only in a razor. Based on what? Three days? Daily? One week of growth?
I have no problems because I tried a lot of Wolfmans. But what about someone who didn't? I don't get any sense at all, sorry.

I would base efficiency on how long the shave lasts for me. In other words how close the Shave is. For example, I shaved last night with a WR1 .94 SB, and my shave lasted 16 hours before I started feeling just the slightest bit of stubble.

I believe that’s what this thread is trying to do, give thoughts on the WR2 and how it compares to the WR1 and other Razors. If people haven’t had the opportunity to try a bunch of different Blade gaps, then it could be a daunting task trying to decide what Blade Gap to choose should the opportunity present itself.

+1 just trying to help people navigate the gaps. Especially the higher gaps, my preference. I wish there had been a robust conversation on the high gap WR1 head when I started. I couldn't find it, so I had to figure it out on my own. Now there is a WR2 head to navigate as well.

There is a lot of good information in this thread from the beginning, from a lot of different guys. It has morphed, yes, but for good reason, IMO. May save a man from making a $600 mistake.

+1. The opportunity to purchase a Wolfman is rare and fleeting, requiring one to know precisely what to select well in advance for what may be a person’s only opportunity to make said choice. The knowledge shared by those with firsthand experience is IMHO invaluable. I own only one Wolfman, but it is a fantastic fit for me, due in no small part to the patient advice from LOOT . Without his advice or threads like this, I would have picked nearly at random when I was lucky enough to stumble upon the website being open and likely would have ended up with a razor that wasn’t for me.

Now I just hope that doesn’t turn out to be my only opportunity!

Yeah, you guys were a big help when I was able to order my 1.25 DC. I have had a couple WR1’s and kept the .74 but now want a more aggressive WR1 in titanium, I think. It’s good to hear everyone’s impressions on blade gaps as you only have a few seconds to make a decision if you are lucky enough to catch it open. Know what you want before you get started or you will definitely miss out!!

Efficiency is completely different if you shave on daily shave or after three days or one week etc. ! That's the real problem. Plus IMO you can't speak of the gap only if you don't mention your routine (again: daily etc.).

Please, clarify: preference based on what? This is the omission.
