Living in the South has taught me to hate magnolia and pine: two trees formally beloved throughout life and living multiple locales domestically and internationally

LOVE that brush  Happy2

Thank you, Dave! I’m rather fond of it myself. Peter did a great job with the pour.

Yes Scraper, that is a richer BOK looking pour. Beautiful.

Clay Face

Windsor Cream (D.R. Harris) vetiver & leather
Shave 1 ・ 148 g left

This container is horrible. The exterior lid is hard to thread, and unlike most creams, there is no interior lid. So, the stuff inside dries out fast. When I opened this tub a few weeks ago, I discovered that the contents had shriveled. It was only half full. I added some water and gave it a stir and twisted the lid down tight. This morning when I unscrewed the lid, I was happy to find a full tub of fragrant cream. It lathered like a dream and was plenty slick. My only gripe is that it left me dry and tight, but a little aftershave milk did the trick.

Thanks, Tommy. It’s a very difficult handle to get good photos of. Peter calls the color scheme “Cranberry Crush”.

I have been thinking more about this ... I originally assumed you thought I'm a neat freak, so that's where my mind went. I'm not a neat freak, I'm a practical person.
So, using your/his model, it's TRUE... I squeeze all the cream out (practical), but I don't wipe the threads on the screw (not neat freak).
And that's how I approach most things... Effort to the point it makes sense (to me), but not overkill. (I'm busy, so it's a survival mechanism, not laziness.)
Law of diminishing returns.

Apologies but you misinterpreted the intent of the post. Actually, the post had little to do with you other than evoking memories of an impressive prof from my youth. If anything, you should feel flattered; he was a great man allaround: mentally and physically
