So, using your/his model, it's TRUE... I squeeze all the cream out (practical), but I don't wipe the threads on the screw (not neat freak).
And that's how I approach most things... Effort to the point it makes sense (to me), but not overkill. (I'm busy, so it's a survival mechanism, not laziness.)
