I have been thinking more about this ... I originally assumed you thought I'm a neat freak, so that's where my mind went. I'm not a neat freak, I'm a practical person.
So, using your/his model, it's TRUE... I squeeze all the cream out (practical), but I don't wipe the threads on the screw (not neat freak).
And that's how I approach most things... Effort to the point it makes sense (to me), but not overkill. (I'm busy, so it's a survival mechanism, not laziness.)
Law of diminishing returns.

Apologies but you misinterpreted the intent of the post. Actually, the post had little to do with you other than evoking memories of an impressive prof from my youth. If anything, you should flattered; he was a great man allaround: mentally and physically

All good, I was definitely off.

Clay Face

Windsor Cream (D.R. Harris) vetiver & leather
Shave 2 ・ 141 g left

When I ordered this cream, I swore in my wrath that it would be last tub of shaving soap I’d ever buy. Two weeks have passed, and my oath has held true. Now the challenge is this: Can I stick with Windsor till it’s gone. Not likely. But it’s surely going to give me some nice shaves until I grow tired of it. I love the scent, a citrus cologne with enough vetiver and leather in the base to hold my interest all year round. And as long as I’m loving it, I just may be able to keep my eyes off all the other magnificent soaps out there.
