The almond scent was gone before I bought it but I didn’t buy it for the almond scent.  I bought it for the performance.  I understand that everyone will have different results with different water and different styles but for me and my Hard water DR Harris works great.  I’ve owned the almond before and it is a great scent. Smells like almonds vs dessert.  Load longer than you would guess, rub the puck on your cheeks, and hit it with your brush.  Such a great soap and this almond is unscented.

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Bergamotto di Calabria (Abbate y La Mantia) soapy lemon-orange
Shave 2 ・ 76 g left

According to Abbate y La Mantia, the Turks called bergamot bey armudu, meaning the ‘Lord’s pear’. However, apart from their yellow color, the two fruits don’t really look alike, and anyone who has ever sampled a bergamot will assure you that it’s bitter-sour flavor tastes nothing like a pear. Bergamot is grown solely for its essential oil as the fruit, by all accounts, is inedible.
