I've been scaled. I'm smooth now.

For a non-lathering shave cream, I love this stuff.

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Bergamotto di Calabria (Abbate y La Mantia) soapy lemon-orange
Shave 3 ・ 74 g left

Bergamotto di Calabria finishes plump. Even after twelve hours, I have only a hint of a beard, my skin is soft, and I feel no burn whatsoever. Part of the credit for this happy situation is due to the mare’s milk that’s found in the soap’s base. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and easy, like I’ve used a donkey-milk soap. In fact, chemists recently discovered that mare’s milk is indistinguishable from donkey’s milk. It may even be more common and therefore less expensive. And compared to saying ‘donkey milk’ (or what's worse, ‘ass milk’), ‘mare’s milk’ sounds almost elegant.

Check out the label. There are little horses' heads in the background.

If we're going to call milk from horses Mare Milk, I think that those companies/artisans that use milk from donkeys should label it Jenny MilkBig Grin

Mike's Natural Soaps - Vetiver

Just came in today. Wow, very pungent from the puck! Dark green and leathery funk. Made me think, "I can't imagine what the Salters smells like!" But upon lathering, it opens up quite a bit and even sits on a nutty base. Very enjoyable and excellent shave. Finished with some Tonka Bean splash, a nice complement (and compliment).
