This soap totally flummoxes me.  Off the top, it smells.  I mean it smells!  But when I whack it with a wet brush the scent opens into a dirty Vetiver that is so satisfying.  It’s almost industrial and maybe a bit medicinal.  At any rate is smells like it’s time to get to work and I really enjoy it.  And the T100 brush I restored long ago gets along swimmingly with this concoction.  Great two-pass shave this morning.

I don't shave two days in a row very often, but I just had to come back for more. I always thought of bay rum as a summer scent, but I was WRONG. And today's shave was better than yesterday's. I can see myself coming back to this frequently. Plus, it gives me another opportunity to use the Derby City sauce.

Neroli, I think i did over 10 Bay Rum shaves in December. It was righteous. I like it best during the holiday season.

Vesper Omnibus

This is a man's soap. It is quite earthy. Vetiver? coming to the fore. All I could think of was Lipripper. You might really like this one.

C U all tomorrow

My kid has it.  I’ll give her a sniff (and likely order a tub)

Windsor (D.R. Harris) leather & vetiver
Shave 23 ・ 89 g left

Rosy-fingered dawn hadn’t so much as cracked her knuckles before I was zipping along the coastal road in the dark. My destination: a woman in a long black robe with a skewed sense of humor. I had received my fourth judicial summons in the last six months, this time being called to serve on a grand jury. As I had done with all previous summonses, I did my utmost to work out an escape plan, but to no avail. So I was left with a quandary: whether to show up in court bright and very early, or to put in a pleasurable day with the sheriff. I elected for the former. To boost my spirits and soothe my way into the day, I first sought solace in a reviving bowl of Windsor—a cheerful blend of leather and vetiver. That little indulgence may be all the comfort I will eke out of today.
