What soap/cream did you use today?

I tell ya, I get excellent and EASY shaves with these creams.

I'm also enjoying simple scents these days... think I'm just over the allure of novelty of a new complex scent.
For the time being, I'm only buying basic scents (or maybe something complex if I trust a particular maker).

Stirling Green [Polo Green]

EVERY .... TIME... I use Stirling I get a great lather and subsequent shave.  For me, Stirling is the slickest out there. I seem to always get it dialed in juuuust right. Cold and wet here in the Bluegrass... a very green cool wet spring... in the low 60s high 50s. Had to go with my old college juice. Never disappoints like Stirling. BTW, this dupe is better than the current EDT by Polo. Vintage Green is still the way to go.

Vintage no doubt.

Day 31 of using solely Ethos Colonia in the F base. My one and only soap for a trip in Europe until early July.
Why did I choose this one? Top notch performance..also works great serving double duty as both a pre and post shave and a magnificent scent I look forward to using each and every day. Zero “scent fatigue” for me with this one.

Scent on this one gets more of the smokiness as its lathered which is what I look for in it. I usually tend to sniff the tub and not get the smokiness and pass it over for another soap as I forget it transforms upon lathering, at least for me. GREAT base for sure !

Forgot to take a picture this morning so here's a shot from the MdC website.

I was finally able to work from home yesterday.  All power has been turned back on and, most importantly, wifi is back!  There won't be much going on this week as the contractor prepares to complete the change orders and punch out list.  I'm still hoping they'll finish up in mid-June.  I have five new-to-me soaps that have been accumulated over the past couple months that have yet to be tried.  Really doing my best to maintain the MdC Fougere commitment but am really getting anxious for this remodel to be done, the basement cleared out, and the den to be re-stocked!
