Fougère (Martin de Candre) peppery fougère
Shave 18 ・ 196 g left
For a new shaver, Martin de Candre’s Fougère and the Merkur 42C is a fine combination. Making a lather with this soap is effortless and instantly rewarding; and the 42C is about as mild as a butter knife. A great gift for a teenage shaver, this razor will mow down peach fuzz without digging any divots. More seasoned shavers may find it frustrating, but I think it’s a perfect tool for those days when I have to shave but I still want to give my skin a break. And I really like the Art Deco handle, which Merkur has been producing on and off for at least eighty years.

Ethos Vetivert
Vetiver has kind of been my Monday morning meeting office scent. Tom Ford & Creed are my favorite reaches. The problem has been finding a soap that can go toe to toe with these two clean tip tier frags. I have one now. This baby is a lay down fOR Creed OV. Soapy green and clean. First class in a jar. Love the F base, it lathers when I stare at it.
And my USUAL ETHOS post - daily routine,: 1 squirt of serum, 2 squirt of HA, in with my AFS. PERFECTION

This morning was all about the brush. I love this Farvour wonder and the 28mm knot (purchased elsewhere) is fantastic. What I wanted was an easy lathering soap for a nice leisurely shave and Cella was at hand. And yes, it was a marvelous shave. I’ve been on the road for a week and one of the best things about getting home (aside from the bride) is choice! Matching? Nope. Cella for an easy shave followed by a totally mismatched Stirling Gin and Tonic aftershave. I feel great.
TommyCarioca, I've been spraying the MdC down with Roundup after each shave. Finally keeping that growth at bay
