Lipripper would like this one. Take a sniff and it’s not hard to imagine you’re sitting on the banks of a stream that’s purling through a mountain meadow rimmed by evergreens. Here are the notes I’m smelling the most: balsam fir, Douglas fir, cedar, pine needles, peppermint, tea tree, sage, and rosemary. It’s green, sappy, and delicious, and I can hardly stand to lather it, it makes me so homesick for the high country.

It does sound like my jam and come home for heavens sake.  I’ve got a bed for you and your bride.  If you hurry you can make it for the sleep-over tonight.

Thanks, agreed. If I wasn't away from home I'd have had my spice bomb EDT to join in.

You would be correct. High stearic acid content on those first two ingredients.

I wonder how this compares with Dedaration Grooming Weinstrasse which really does have that wine feel to it with its white grape top note. It takes me right back to my days in the Napa Valley. I used to hang out some at Robert Mondavi and they used to serve tastings of Fume Blanc.
Hmm, maybe I need to check out the DG soap, too? I'll wait for Oasisdave response first. Don't need too many more soaps, especially not near duplicates.

More than you probably ever wanted to know regarding Weinstrasse: https://chatillonlux.com/blogs/news/scen...ly-vaguely

It is posited that distance and time clarify perspective.  Being honest, although having fought it entire life, there is wisdom in the lore of old.

Have been focusing on Grooming Dept Vanilla Almond Mallard, which is an outstanding soap, at the leading edge of the latest soap tech.

But then, for whatever reason, decided to lather up an ETHOS Safi sample from Patriot.

Good God, one immediately knows where every penny of the outrageous price goes.

I may have been mistaken regarding the gap from the world's second best soap to first....

Will likely never have the means to buy a tub but damn!!!  DEAD BALLS PERFECT in every metric....

Thank you Patriot.
