I’m going to guess though that as easy as the lather starts it’ll be an issue with under loading. So the shave was fantastic but that’s where the fun ends. The scent is a little heavy on the grandmas-purse side of things and the label art seems a bit more feminine than it needs to be. This is a floral blast. I like florals but I like to “whiff” them and not have hand to hand combat with em. This one will be gifted to a daughter and I’ll move on. Great soap though.Yeah, that was one I held onto for a long time thinking maybe someday the scent will grow on me. I wanted to like it, but just too synthetic and one-dimensional.
We need a better Violet! (GFT isn't without faults either. Razorock, same.)
Amen brother! A great Violet would be awesome. GFT is the best I’ve run across this far

We looked into doing an AirBnb or short-term leasing but the costs were higher than what we were hoping for...plus, it's tough finding lodging when you have 2 dogs!

HA! I went through a similar major renovation about 17 years ago and had to take "showers" at my kitchen sink in the middle of January. Wouldn't have been too bad but there was a large hole in the wall so it was basically like showering outside

Have either of you tried Eleven's Clary Sage & Violet?
Another GD Verbrannt shave today. This one is going to get some good use over the next week or two and then I will start in on the "Soap of the Quarter" shaves using MdC Fougere. Decided to go with MdC since it only had 1 use and I'm curious to see if I can put a good dent into it with 3 months of consecutive use.
