Yeah, that was one I held onto for a long time thinking maybe someday the scent will grow on me. I wanted to like it, but just too synthetic and one-dimensional.
We need a better Violet! (GFT isn't without faults either. Razorock, same.)

Amen brother!  A great Violet would be awesome. GFT is the best I’ve run across this far

Get a hotel room and shave there. I couldn't do it

We looked into doing an AirBnb or short-term leasing but the costs were higher than what we were hoping for...plus, it's tough finding lodging when you have 2 dogs!

Garden hose in the back yard?  Cold water shaving….

HA!  I went through a similar major renovation about 17 years ago and had to take "showers" at my kitchen sink in the middle of January.  Wouldn't have been too bad but there was a large hole in the wall so it was basically like showering outside Smile

Another GD Verbrannt shave today.  This one is going to get some good use over the next week or two and then I will start in on the "Soap of the Quarter" shaves using MdC Fougere.  Decided to go with MdC since it only had 1 use and I'm curious to see if I can put a good dent into it with 3 months of consecutive use.
