Ethos Vanilla Safi

It finally got really cold here in Dallas. We had a hard freeze; and I have been saving this cream for such a day. Mildly scented - pure vanilla - and Frank really packed the product in this beautiful container. I have shaved 3 times with her now and I am still loading from the cream upon the top of the lid....at this rate my grandkids will be using it!.

Creamy and easy on the load, took water robustly and I did not approach a viscosity failure due to over-hydration. Nice sheen and very slick it was. Funny, it looked like I was shaving with milk chocolate, and the lather was a beautiful Lindt milk chocolate color.

Going to use it again this week - I rarely use a soap in the same month much less the same week [less my beloved Tabac] however this begs for another spin.

Seaforth! Sea Spice Lime (Spearhead) aquatic citrus
Shave 2 ・ 118 g left

After three days of thunderstorming and downpouring, the sun finally broke through the clouds this afternoon. Time to celebrate. I thought something especially light and uplifting would suit the occasion. Sea Spice Lime fit the bill. It’s a bright limey aquatic with a good sprinkling of coriander, pepper, and West Indies bay. I wouldn’t call it a spicy scent, really. It’s more an aquatic citrus. But there’s enough fragrant dusty stuff to take the edge off the Jolly Roger lime and set this soap on the fringes of the bay rum universe. Shawn Maher of Chatillon Lux and Maher Olfactive is responsible for the fragrance. I generally like his stuff very much. This is no exception.
