Today looks like a war zone outside.  Last night around midnight the sky lit up with lightening and thunder but little to no rain.  This morning I woke up to ash falling from the sky, a red sun, and the smell of a sagebrush fire.  I’m guessing the lighting lit the desert west of my place on fire.  Smokey to say the least.  A shower and shave helped.  I am odd in that I don’t like to load/lather a puck in the wooden dish but like to dump the puck into my hand and load it there.  After rinsing the puck I put it on a towel to dry before putting it back in the bowl all clean, nice, and pretty.  Just weird I guess but it works for me.  One benefit is I always know where the bottom of the puck is!  This Marlborough is getting awfully thin but still so long lasting.  Scent is still very nice and with a long load it still provides a great shave.
