I think I prefer fragrances. They're far more interesting than most essential oils, they're quick to use, and they're not so messy.

First time using Moon Soap.  From a performance-perspective, it was simply great...very slick with good cushion.  The scent is really nice as well.  If you have ever tried RR Puros, this is a very similar scent.  And, yes, the two paired up very nicely for today's shave Smile

The lather ended up looking and feeling very nice (it can hold a lot of water) but I was disappointed in the loading process.  I didn't bloom the soap/(croap) and used a 24mm Cashmere to load.  When I first started face-lathering, it wasn't spreading evenly and I thought I would have to scrap the soap or add in some CO Bigelow.  After about 20 seconds of smearing cream on my face, I decided to dip the brush and see what happened.  A full dip of the knot into sink water sprung this lather into a workable solution.  About 10 minutes, the lather was super shiny.  Best part was the scent never faded during the lather process and I was able to inhale that glorious floral tobacco throughout the lather/shave!  Looking forward to using this one again and will hopefully get the load/initial face-lather process down better
