What soap/cream did you use today?

Boellis Panama 1924 shaving cream.  This made excellent lather, but the jury is still out after a single shave, regarding the fragrance.

Traditionnel v. (Le Père Lucien) lemon, rosemary, thyme, lavender, eucalyptus

Today’s lather came out so slick I had to stop mid-scrape to confirm there really was a blade in the razor. There was, but I could hardly feel it. Next I convinced myself that I had mistakenly put a super mild baseplate on my Rockwell. Fact is, I was using baseplate 4, but it felt like baseplate 1 or 2. Great slickness and cushion in the latest LPL soaps. Traditionnel smells like herbs and eucalyptus. So the scent, as the name suggests, is entirely, well, traditional. You’ll have to look elsewhere if you’re searching for an olfactory challenge; nevertheless, the soap’s good enough to be one of my favorites ever.
