What soap/cream did you use today?

Such an underrated scent... So well done. Never hear much about it though.

It's their take on (vintage) Gillette Sun Up, which I've never tried, but if it smells like this, it's REALLY good.

(PAA Sun Down is another take on this same frag.
Personally, I like B&M's version better... more full, natural, and just gives aura of higher quality to me. The PAA is still quite good in isolation, just B&M's take is better on most days, IMO.)

Not an easy scent to describe. Definitively masculine though, that is no doubt.

Definitely barbershoppy and musky. After that, it's hard to pick out any individual notes other than the talc and oakmoss. Maybe a dark lavender in there. Clean, with a hint of spice but I don't know what it's from...maybe a touch of cinnamon.

Big thanks Nero. I like the pucks. And Seville and Reserve Spice are in my den. Need to try this I think.

Stirling Christmas Eve

A wonderful Christmas scent with pine, spices, cranberry, and plenty more I'm just not picking up. Just the quintessential Christmas scent. Great shave with a Gamechanger 84 and a Gillette 7 o'clock Black.

I somehow failed to mention that there is some "root" note...kinda like Aramis, if you're familiar. It's quite dominant once you start lathering.

Had a project to do at my sons home this morning so didn't get a shower and shave until early afternoon.  With company coming I grabbed what was at hand and that was a brand new tub of West Coast Shavings Chypre my brother gave to me yesterday.  I believe it's made by Vida at Oleo but maybe one of you could help?  Anyway the scent is awesome but I haven't learned how to get performance out of Oleo soaps yet.  I'll give er a go tomorrow and load heavy.  Smells glorious and the label is awesome!
