Love the smell of this barbershop soap. Seems to work well, in protection, slickeness, and post shave feel. Still, I can't help but want to try Mike's, as that is what I've seen this compared to the most (I think). Still, wary I won't like the Mike's scent. Decisions decisions. Lol.

There is a thread named “Soap Sample Passaround, Sign Up Now” over in soaps and creams section. I would recommend you take a gander and put your name on the list. This is a big Box of stuff and it’s headed to me. Plenty of room on the docket for more users and I’d sure like to send it to one o f you in a week to 10 days. Go over. Check out the artisans represented and sign up!

Rosa Bourbon t. (Eufros) rich rose

On a warm muggy morning this rich rose scent is almost too opulent. It had me gasping today, and I even looked forward to the last rinse. There’s nothing wrong with the fragrance other than its volume. In fact, it’s a near perfect picture of a bourbon rose dripping with nectar. But RB is loud and it will linger.

So I smelled like wedding bouquet for a long time today, but I felt good even longer. Credit goes to the technique. After five years and 1100 shaves with a double-edged razor, I’m starting to understand how important it is to use no pressure. I mean, no pressure at all. Now I let the blade glide over my skin like a ice cube on a sunburn. The result is a far closer shave than when I press down. When I lighten up I have better control, and the blade stays sharp for days on end. But best of all, it leaves my skin feeling velvety soft like a rose petal.

I have both and, honestly, there is very little, if any, difference in terms of scent between the two. The soap bases are different though. If you don't have any Mike's and are curious about the base, I would suggest choosing a different scent. Now, if you don't mind having two soaps of the same scent, go for it!
