Vetiver t. (Mike's Natural Soaps)
★★★★★ rooty vetiver, nuts
If you're looking for a one-note vetiver, it's hard to beat Mike's. There's no citrus to brighten it, but it doesn't really need any cleaning up. I don't get the smoky rank notes of Salter's French Vetiver. Instead, Mike's vetiver is well aired, maybe even double distilled. It's still earthy and nutty but there's none of that smoky rot you sometimes get from the blue tub.
Mike's soap has an enormous water window, and that in part explains its popularity. You can mix it up stiff and dry or wet and glossy. Either way you'll feel like you've got some of the best suds ever.
