Oh this soap is getting pummeled!  Long road trip for work and it’s the only one I have.  Formula T is a good one for sure.  Gaelic Tweed = Green Irish Tweed?  Nope, but it’s nice and it shaves.

Natural Bay Rum (Meißner Tremonia) pure bay rum
Shave 14

The old soap still carries the warm scent of pimenta racemosa. It perfumes the bathroom air with a certain dry spiciness, while litsea’s citrusy edge adds a bright note. The Jamaican rum has faded into the background, but it's still sweet and smells like caramel. The lather smells nice. I think this is one of my top two bay rums.

I’ve been wondering why these Meißner Tremonia soaps work so well for me. I think it’s the clay. This Natural Bay Rum is fortified with two clays, white and brown. The lather may be frothy, but the dirt gives me all the cushion I need for a comfortable shave.

Nero, I got my last batch of Meißner Tremonia soap from Gifts & Care in Spain. I don't think anyone in North America is still carrying the brand. Pity. I really enjoy Meißner Tremonia. Even though their lather is odd, I always get a good shave.

Strong unpopular opinion here: along with ABC and SMN, most overrated Italian shaving soap in the history of overrated Italian shaving soaps, maybe ever (semi cit.) Undecided
But I get it, that coffret is so cool! Big Grin
