Barrister's Reserve Fern (Barrister & Mann) bright fougère

A clean green scent coupled with a high gloss sheen make this lather one of my favorites on a bright summer's day. I haven't a clue, though, why there's a crown on the label. Do the three points represent lavender, tonka, and oak moss, the backbone of the classic fougère? Or is the crown some arcane alchemical symbol, hinting at the magic that goes into making a superb soap arise from grease and lye? Any ideas?

My guess is that it is a subtle allusion to Houbigant Fougere Royale.
