Well, this is surprising and good subjective information, for me anyway. I was really hoping it was more aggressive than the .95, which I found to be too mild and bulky. The Slim seemed like a very good improvement, but, now, with two persons expressing the same views on it, I'll definitely have to rethink getting it. That is a bit unfortunate, as it would have been my first Titanium razor head. However, I may just have to see for myself. Smile

I am thinking it may have something to do with the plate or top cap here as you have 2 different people using the same exact plate and top cap and they seem to be the only people that are getting different results from everyone else!! Might be something to look into...

Good thought, but I only sold him the Ti SLIM baseplate. My top cap stayed with the rest of my beloved Ti .95!

The only way to resolve this is for me to just buy the razor head and try it for myself.  Big Grin

I have a scalloped polished Ti top cap. I agree that the only way to know if you'll like it is to try it.
Interested in hearing other opinions. Us 2 may be the few odd balls.

OK, 3rd shave with the Ti SB SLIM. My final thoughts are that this base plate is slightly less efficient than the original 0.95 SB but just as smooth. Blade feel is minimal to me. I think this is a great option for those who don't like the bulky original plates, and don't mind sacrificing a tad of efficacy in order to have a slimmer head.
I'm tempted to keep mine but it's too similar to the original to justify doing so, and I really don't mind a bulky head.

Aren't the Slim heads stated to have a 0.5mm gap or 0.05mm blade exposure? I don't believe they have the same gap as the .95
Kind of interesting that the Timeless website states that the Slim head is 'aggressive' which doesn't seem to be the case for you.   Shy

That's correct. The SLIM does however have greater exposure.

Edit: This is incorrect, they have the same exposure.

I think he was referring to the fact that you called it “the 0.95 SB Ti SLIM”. There is no such razor. The SLIM only comes in 0.50 as of now.
