I just use the razor and I want to be very fair in my review. It is probably the heaviest razor that I own and it feels heavier than the Mongoose. I own all the top stainless steel de razors from the Wolfman SB, feather AS D2 ATT slants and R 1, Pils, King Cobra Razorock Black Mamba and a few others. Usually I am very good from the first few strokes to know how I like it. This is the first razor that it really will take me a few shaves to really give a fair review. Initially is mild and efficient because of the weight you really have to be very light with your touch. The head does take more time to really get the right angle to get the most efficient cutting, where as with all the other razors I dial it in right away. So far I like it but definitely say I don't love it. I was inspired to buy the razor because of the video I saw I think it was the shave man and he absolutely loved the razor. Time will tell for me after a few more shaves I will be able to post more.

Thanks, Rawfox1, for the interim report. I'll be anxious to hear your thoughts after a few more shaves with it. The head of that razor looks kinda large and I think it might be difficult to get to the high part of your upper lip, just under the nose. My wife watches me get to that area of the upper lip and the faces I make to do it, and just laughs at me.

It sure is purty, though!

You're right about the top cap. It's a little tight shaving North to South under the nose with it. However, I found that, because of the side-to-side (or end-to-end, whatever you prefer) design of the razor, the blade tabs on the ends don't stick out like some other DE's (the tabs sticking out can catch you quite easily). The blade does reach quite well, though. So you can get those "high and tight" areas under the nose by shaving East-to-West (or vice-versa) very easily and neatly.

Thank you for your initial review rawfox1. Looking forward to follow up reports. I should be getting mine in about two weeks or so and will certainly comment on its ability to perform as well as build quality.

Good info, TCS, thanks. I'll have to watch your video of your shave with it, again. I remember seeing you do an E to W stroke under the nose, but this time, I'll pay closer attention.

The blade angle dialed in pretty quickly for me, I felt. I think it is a bit like the Cobra Classic, actually, in how it shaves (may be just me). But advantage to this one is that you can use any old DE blade, obviously.

Hope you keep enjoying it, rawfox1.

(And no worries about missing my name. I'm still comparatively new to the game.)
