I found the head to be very thick and bulky and the blade exposure is very small so there's a very fine line to find the exact angle. Also with so little late exposure in the rays of being so heavy when you don't feel the blade you want to push more and that's something one should not do. As I said earlier I have enough experience with many different phrases with finding the angles was not as difficult as I found with this razor. So I will give it a number of shots before I make a fair evaluation

Just had my second shave with the hone 15. It was much better I found the angle much easier the hardest part is really getting used to the weight of the razor being gentle and not putting any weight on your face. I then used my one blade razor for the final pass and all I can say is wow this razor gets better and better and better. I own mostly all the top two razors there are and one blade is on the top. To finish off about the hone 15, it is a unique and nice shaver with a beautiful look and probably one of the heaviest razors on the market

Thanks for the review. So would you ever use just the Hone and not finish up with the One Blade?

I always like a BBS shave so to get that you have I would continue to to use the one blade because I couldn't get that close with the hone 15 without irritating my face. You can get a very nice shave with the hone 15 just not as close as I prefer

I'm surprised. I was able to get what I deemed a BBS shave on multiple occasions. Then again, my experience is not as vast as many.

For me when I say BBS I mean I don't feel any beard at all no matter how hard I will rub my finger on my skin .. you can get a very close shave with the hone

Yeah in the top-5 for sure. The Hone 15 is what, 164-165gr? I think the only two current razors that I can think of that are heavier than it would be the Mongoose followed by Maggard's MR8 (180gr).

Oh wow! That's like a BBS shave from a baby not yet born! Mighty high standards you've set for yourself, rawfox1.
Does Mean I Must Buy High End Shaving Gear?
