Resurrection time.....
The razor that never disappoints, the RX. Always works in 2 passes with the slightest of touch ups around the chin & Adam’s Apple area. Used a fresh Feather Pro and it was a no contest for the whiskers this morning. The RX is not for everyone and I understand that completely. It’s a supremely efficient razor with a healthy dose of blade feel that if one is careless, you’re going to potentially pay a price for that with some serious irritation, nics or even worse some skin removal. But, sound technique & NO PRESSURE really allows you to see and feel what this razor is capable of. It’s a Titan in not just the SE world but, in all of wet shavedom. Love the design, the feel and look of it. Superb, simply superb....

Perhaps you should have tried it with a guarded blade as it turns down the blade feel and harshness substantially allowing one to get acquainted with the RX more easily. If you did, pardon the redundancy in my suggestion.....
Happy shaves.....
When I bought my RX, I’d been shaving with SEs for awhile, esp the ATT SE1. The RX was a natural transition in efficiency and gave me no issue, only very close shaves. I didn’t understand all the talk about its fierce aggression.
These days, I primarily shave with DEs including a Wolfman WR1 in .94 gap. When on occasion I shave with the RX, it is quite aggressive to me. I guess I’ve lost my touch a bit with SEs. I have no doubt I could quickly get it back, butI’m not that interested anymore.
I still enjoy the Ikon MR-SE and will likely keep it when the rest get sold off.

Hi Guys, i had more Se Ac, (and i also build a One-off Se artist club adjustable..)
I tryed Vector, Ikon el jefe, hawk v2, and still have Att Se1 /se2, Asylum and my custom se.
But Asylum Rx is best ac-se i ever used.
Great balance, really close, smooth and long lasting shave paired with kai mg protouch.
