Congratulations! It is an awesome razor. I tried two guarded and two regular types of blades, both Kai and Feather. While I can enjoy them all, the guarded blades require much less focus and concentration (than the Feather Pro and Kai Capitan) and for me they are mildly aggressive. With the guarded blades I can use the Rx on a daily base without any irritation.
I know this posting has been dormant for 2 months, but I had to ask. I've had my Rx since February and consider it to be the best razor in my den when talking DE's and SE's. My straights will always be top dog because they simply provide the best shave a man can get. That being said, the Rx is right behind them. I have used a couple different blades such as the Feather Pro and the Kai Captain Titan & Titan Mild Pink. And all deliver great shaves with my best ones coming from a Feather Pro. My Rx has been on the shelf for quite a bit since I went on a RAD rampage the past month trying out new razors. This morning I decided to bring it out and try it with one of the Schick Proline blades. It was a very impressive shave. Excellent sharpness, yet so smooth, forgiving and efficient. A 2 pass shave with no buffing or touch ups. The Rx always delivers an amazing shave, but today was really something nice. I'm not saying it's the greatest AC style blade, but it sure is nice the Rx and Proline together. Anyone else try the Schick Proline in their Rx?
I'm with you, Gus. The RX is among my top five razors of all stripes, and the variety of AC blades allow me to have a variety of experiences--all great. I now have 90 AC Proline blades, and haven't used a single one. I received them all in the last few days and, given my extensive rotation and the longevity of the Kai blade currently in use, I'm going to need a bit more time before I can report. But I will.

Residents of another state are no more qualified to comment on California housing prices than a razor they haven't tried. Once again the internecine conflicts of the shaving community taint many 'reviews' and any non combatant becomes collateral damage. One fall on your arse by an individual shaver, one giant fall on our arses by the shaving community. And this, sadly includes the Asylum's creator as witnessed with the recent in your face stunt against a popular brushmaker by the Gang of Four. People complain about several individuals and companies ie Wolfman or Rooney who are difficult, if not impossible to contact. Maybe they're on to something, like civility and ethics.
