Regular Hawk V3 with 2-piece Halo Handle is now available. I ordered one for me and one for a buddy (plus a couple shave sticks ). Just thought I'd let everyone know in case they missed the last drop. I plan to use a proline for its maiden voyage. Stay safe and happy shaves everyone.

I got 2 of the 3 that I ordered yesterday. The standard SB and the OC came together but having issues getting my “A” plate razor. Says delivered but was not there. Anyway, I will use the OC tomorrow with a Schick Proline Blade. The polish on these is really good and as someone stated, much better than the GC polish. The OC plate is the exact same as the Jaws GC. Really looking forward to using it tomorrow.

Damn, everyone has gotten theirs and mine's still in transit since the 03rd of April. I keep waiting to shave thinking it'll arrive the next day.  Smile

Already swapped out the handle on the Hawk OC for a Mongoose Big Beastie smooth handle. Pics attached. By the way, love the OC baseplate. Same open comb pattern as the GC Jaws. First use will be tomorrow.

I finally received the V3 and took it for a spin. I've mentioned several times before that I'm a big lover of the Hawk 2 aluminum shimmed. For me it equals a shave on par with my Asylum RX or ATT SE1. The V3 SS does not disappoint. It beat all my expectations. I loaded a fresh Kai Captain Titan Mild. The shave was extremely (super) smooth and close. I gave me a shave as good and close as my Wolfman. I'll try the Kai Protouch MG next as that's also my favorite SE blade. I prefer Kai over Feather and never found the P-30 to be that good. I will however give it a try in the SS Hawk 3.

I did the first three shaves with a Feather Pro.  The Feather worked fine, but I've had good luck with Proline P-30s too, and  I plan to try one next time.  I'll let you know.

I shaved with a fresh P-30 late last night.  TBH the thing that strikes me most is that the Proline on shave #1 reminded me of the Feather on shave #1.  It is not really a fair comparison though, because the Feather had five days of growth to deal with.  I will speak up if I notice a clear and more definite difference over time.

Anyone else here get the V3 and also have a vector? If so what are your opinions of both?

Shaved with the OC Hawk V3 today and I was extremely impressed! This thing is a great shaver! Extremely close and comfortable BBS. I will try the regular SB next. Still have not received my A plate razor yet, it’s lost in the mail. Used a Schick Proline Blade for this shave. I think I will try a Feather Super with the SB version. I really like this version of the Hawk. I have had both versions of the stainless steel Hawk V1 and still have the DLC version. This new one is the perfect upgrade and the redesigned head is just a work of art. Looking forward to the SB version but I REALLY want to get my hands on the A plate version. Anybody got one yet? Really need to hear about that one. Attaching a link to my Instagram post SOTD with the OC Hawk today.

I have both and love both after a bunch of shaves with the Vector and 1 shave with the Hawk V3. The new Hawk is amazing but I need a few more shaves to compare it.

Dude:  I've got a Hawk V3 "A" plate version.  I reviewed it here,  and I responded to your question about what blades people are using here.  I'm sorry you got "postal screwed".  That does really suck.   But your "A" plate razor will most likely get to you eventually, and if it makes you feel any better, my guess is you are going to be a happy camper when i does.
